DevOps Engineer (GCP)

Location: Bulgaria, Romania, or Poland; work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain a scalable, production-ready cloud platform.
• Develop infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes-based environments and platform services.
• Collaborate with development and experimental teams to deliver reliable, production-ready capabilities.
• Contribute to platform architecture and cloud-native best practices.
• Ensure platform reliability, maintainability, and readiness for evolving business needs.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor in software delivery.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and services deployed directly within clusters.
• Experience with Flux CD or other GitOps tools.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, the Kubernetes ecosystem, infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment best practices.
• Experience managing cloud resources through Kubernetes manifests and operators.
• Familiarity with stateful Kubernetes services such as PostgreSQL, ideally CloudNativePG, Kafka, or Redis-compatible databases.
• Good English communication skills at least at B2 level.
• Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.
