Producer (Game Development)

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; applicants must be located in the BC area.

Salary: CAD 115,000–130,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage game titles from concept through final release while controlling scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, feature sets, mechanics, milestones, and player experience goals with Studio Directors and Leads.
• Drive development progress, track daily work, maintain project documentation, and ensure team accountability.
• Monitor released products and run live operations to improve games through updates and new features.
• Identify and mitigate risks, communicate status and solutions, and act as the primary contact for publishers, clients, and business partners.
• Lead, mentor, motivate, and support production staff, including conducting reviews and career goal setting for Team Leads.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Producer in PC, mobile, and console games.
• At least 2 shipped titles in a Producer, Product Owner, or Senior Production role.
• Experience working on a full game project from start to finish.
• Strong project management and agile development experience, including hands-on use of Jira or tools such as ADO, Excel Dev, and Test Dev.
• Strong product mindset with the ability to champion product vision, align teams, and support long-term product goals.
• Experience working with external clients or partners, managing expectations, communication, and delivery alignment.
• Ability to run effective live operations for released games.
• Self-directed, responsible, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to organize and prioritize work independently.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
