Project Controller (Architecture)

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end project setup, including project creation, budgets, and timelines.
• Support Project Managers and Partners with bookings, budgets, performance, forecasting, receivables, and cash collection.
• Lead monthly budget update meetings and the monthly closing process for an assigned partner portfolio.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities, including additional scope and fees, and challenge project assumptions.
• Handle invoicing for contract work and reimbursables, including client and subcontractor correspondence.
• Maintain WIP, revenue, and profit-contributing project reporting; enable time registration, train new employees, and provide ad hoc analytics.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Architecture, or another relevant field.
• Fluent spoken and written English required.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with high proficiency in Excel.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to constructively challenge stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a busy, creative, fast-paced environment with many personalities and rapidly changing decisions.
• Able to work in a structured environment with recurring deadlines, particularly monthly financial processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in Project Controlling, Finance, or Business Controlling.
