Senior Engineering Manager

We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Platform and Integrations squads, reporting directly to the CTO.

What you will do

• Act as product owner for Platform and Integrations, gathering requirements, prioritizing needs, and managing the roadmap.
• Set technical vision and strategy, including managing technical debt and planning for future scale.
• Stay hands-on by writing and reviewing code in Java, Python, or Go, and contributing to system design and API contracts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure platform reliability, including incident management and CI/CD optimization.
• Manage team performance through 1:1s, coaching, performance reviews, and effective headcount planning.
• Establish engineering standards for quality, including PR reviews, test coverage, and deployment safety.

Requirements

• Advanced-level English skills (speaking and writing).
• At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams of 10-15 people.
• 5+ years of experience developing software as an IC engineer, with strong hands-on experience in Java, Python, or Golang.
• Demonstrated product management experience, including roadmap ownership and stakeholder prioritization.
• Experience with DevOps/infrastructure (cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring).
• Proven experience in Lean/Agile management practices and delivery of large-scale projects.

• Experience on Platform, infrastructure, or SRE teams.
• Experience building or managing integrations (public APIs, webhooks, event-driven systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka).
• Background in high-growth startup environments.
• Experience implementing engineering and management processes from scratch.
• Experience managing remote teams.
• Hands-on experience with Datadog and Metabase.
• Russian language proficiency.
