Data Engineer Sr. (Data Integration)

Location: Hybrid schedule required at the Bloomington, Minnesota office/facility, United States.

Annual salary: $92,400–$115,500.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and support data integration applications, infrastructure, and reusable data assets using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and related technologies.
• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations across enterprise applications, databases, cloud platforms, and external data sources.
• Develop data solutions that enable analytics, forecasting, reporting, business intelligence, and data science initiatives.
• Administer Informatica Cloud services, Snowflake environments, agent servers, authentication, encryption, connections, permissions, licensing, and monitoring.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, troubleshoot integrated systems, and improve data quality, reliability, security, and performance.
• Partner with data, business, architecture, infrastructure, and IT teams on requirements, mapping, solution design, governance, reviews, and emerging technology proofs of concept.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, data integration, or data engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience with one or more ETL/ELT platforms.
• Experience with data analysis, requirements gathering, and data mapping for enterprise data solutions.
• Experience with SQL development, including Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with data ingestion, integration, transformation, application integration, and API management tools.
• Familiarity with Agile, SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and Unix/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, cloud storage, identity management, networking, security, data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
• Snowflake certification, such as SnowPro Core or higher.
• Strong cross-functional communication, prioritization, troubleshooting, and complex issue-resolution skills.
