Principal OT Security Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid schedule required at the Bloomington, MN office, United States; travel up to 20%.

Annual salary: $111,840–$139,800, plus eligibility for an annual incentive plan.

What you will do

• Define and drive enterprise OT security architecture, standards, strategy, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead large-scale OT security initiatives covering segmentation, monitoring, and secure remote access.
• Establish OT cybersecurity policies aligned with IEC 62443, NIST, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and leadership teams to align security with uptime and resilience goals.
• Lead remediation of high-impact security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Represent OT security in audits and executive discussions while influencing long-term maturity improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of cybersecurity experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 12+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Significant OT/ICS experience.
• Deep expertise in industrial cybersecurity architecture and risk management.

Nice to have

• Experience leading enterprise OT security programs in global manufacturing environments.
• Experience working with executive leadership and driving strategic initiatives.
• Deep experience with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, TISAX, and CMMC.
• Experience with OT security tools such as Nozomi, Claroty, and Dragos.
• Experience using AI tools to improve the effectiveness of a security tool or mechanism.
• Executive-level verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical topics to diverse stakeholders.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM or CRISC, GICSP, and SANS ICS certifications such as GRID or GCIP.
