Junior Full Stack Software Engineer, IT (Aerospace)

Location: On-site at the Denver, Colorado office; must be located near Denver or willing to relocate to the United States. Must be a US citizen or hold equivalent work authorization permitting access to controlled US Government information.

Salary: USD 85,000–105,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across Windows and macOS hardware, software, and connectivity.
• Own the IT ticket queue and manage employee onboarding, offboarding, device setup, account provisioning, access management, and device recovery.
• Administer Microsoft 365 identity, licensing, mailboxes, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Track, tag, and reconcile IT assets and document procedures, fixes, and known issues.
• Contribute to CMMC 2.0 and NIST 800-171 control implementation and evidence collection.
• Build automations, scripts, internal tools, dashboards, reporting, and APIs for onboarding, access management, compliance, and broader engineering workflows; later support production AI agent security or transition into another engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated engineering ability.
• 0–2 years of professional experience; this is explicitly a junior role.
• Scripting experience in any language, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, with comfort writing against APIs.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity problems step by step and explain the resolution.
• Fundamentals in operating systems, networking, and identity, with comfort working in both Windows and macOS.
• Hands-on, self-directing approach and ability to own a problem from report through shipped fix without being given each step.
• Clear written communication for code, documentation, runbooks, and compliance artifacts.
• Comfort starting in a role that is mostly IT operations, with engineering work growing over time.
• Must be a US citizen or have equivalent work authorization, such as permanent residence or other eligibility to access controlled US Government information.
• Must be located near Denver, Colorado or willing to relocate; the role is on-site at the Denver office.

Nice to have

• Internship, co-op, or project experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, IT, or security.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 administration or scripting against the Graph API.
• Working fluency in TypeScript, Node, React, Python, Go, or a similar modern language and framework.
• Familiarity with CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
• Interest in AI tools, agentic workflows, and safe deployment engineering practices.
• Security+ or Network+ certification, or equivalent.
• Experience in a startup, aerospace, defense, or fast-learning, delivery-focused environment.
