U.S. Research Analyst (Temporary)

Location: Fully onsite in Rockville, MD or Washington, DC, United States, with five days in-office each week

Salary: $26.00–$27.50 per hour, with overtime eligibility subject to manager approval

What you will do

• Conduct research and complete proxy analyses for shareholder meetings of publicly traded companies.
• Read SEC filings, including 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and DEF 14As, and review other company disclosures.
• Distill financial, industry, and corporate governance information into written analyses.
• Prepare proxy vote recommendations using ISS policy guidelines.
• Develop expertise in governance issues involving equity and debt financings.
• Answer internal and external questions about research analyses, policies, and vote recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; relevant experience in finance, accounting, economics, governance, or law is preferred.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, self-directed work ethic, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and communicate with various internal parties.
• The temporary term is expected to run from February 2027 through May or June 2027, with possible variation in start and end dates.

• Familiarity with SEC filings.
