Senior Electrical Engineer, Installation (Robotics)

Location: USA Remote & Travel; up to 80% travel may be required to client locations and company headquarters

Base salary: $116,250.00–$170,500.00

What you will do

• Develop and maintain electrical installation standards, quality documentation, inspection criteria, and workmanship requirements.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on NEC compliance, UL standards, NFPA 70E, grounding and bonding, power distribution, and electrical safety.
• Review arc flash studies, short-circuit analyses, equipment labeling, and safety documentation against project and customer requirements.
• Perform field engineering assessments and resolve design conflicts, constructability concerns, installation risks, RFIs, and field issues.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and installation teams to implement changes, incorporate field redlines, and maintain accurate as-built documentation.
• Improve installation methods and construction SOPs, support new product introductions, kickoff meetings, and stakeholder training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation, including electrical engineering, installation, commissioning, and quality standards.
• Working knowledge of NEC and UL standards, NFPA 70E, OSHA requirements, construction safety practices, Lockout-Tagout, lifting, and rigging.
• Experience supervising or managing contractors and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, installation, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills, including assessing electrical system risks and field conditions, developing corrective actions, and making engineering decisions under schedule constraints.
• Experience using metrics and data analysis to identify opportunities and drive process improvements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company headquarters.
