Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end plan for the cybersecurity program, including scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, milestones, dependencies, internal teams, and third-party providers.
• Track cybersecurity maturity against company frameworks and standards, and manage audit evidence, documentation, and status reporting.
• Monitor program spending, identify cost risks, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership.
• Prepare regular leadership updates and steering committee materials while maintaining project documentation.
• Lead additional IT projects and programs and contribute to improving project management maturity across IT.

Requirements

• Multiple examples of program and project management experience, including multi-year, multi-workstream programs.
• Experience managing a cybersecurity-related program, such as security controls or compliance.
• Active PMP certification or equivalent required.
• Awareness of Agile and Waterfall project management techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Proficiency with standard project management tools such as Monday, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or Jira, plus reporting and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Excel, or PowerPoint.
• Experience working with third-party providers to deliver program goals.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NIST CSF/800-53, SOC 2, or ISO 27001 security control frameworks.
• Experience supporting a GRC function.
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks.
• CISSP or another security-related certification.
