IVVQ Engineer (Space Propulsion Systems)

Location: Verrières-le-Buisson, France; temporarily remote.

hirify.global is a space technology product company developing, industrializing, and mass-producing iodine-fueled electric propulsion systems for satellites below 150 kg.

What you will do

• Define and maintain system verification and validation strategies, verification control matrices, and requirements-to-test traceability.
• Write, execute, and report functional, performance, interface, non-regression, qualification, and lifetime tests for engineering, qualification, and flight models.
• Build and run test benches, automation, data acquisition, and automated reporting for firmware, electronics, and design evolutions.
• Prepare and lead environmental qualification campaigns at internal and external facilities, including on-site execution, anomaly investigation, and final reporting.
• Manage test subcontractors, including specifications, quotations, scheduling, costs, witnessing, and report acceptance.
• Define test configurations, fixtures, harnesses, and ground support equipment; lead readiness and review boards and support production acceptance testing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in verification, validation, or test engineering on complex electronic or electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on experience preparing and conducting environmental qualification testing at external laboratories.
• Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports and maintaining requirement-to-test traceability.
• Experience with hardware/software non-regression testing; test automation using Python, LabVIEW, HIL, or an equivalent is expected as applicable.
• Ability to read electronic schematics and interface definitions and use laboratory instrumentation, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, data acquisition systems, and spectrum analysers.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Aeronautics or space testing standards knowledge.
• Test facilities management experience.
• Vibration testing knowledge, including sine, random, and shock testing.
• EMI, EMC, or radiation testing knowledge.
• Experience with vacuum testing, plasma systems, high-voltage or power electronics, propulsion systems, or satellite equipment.
• French language skills.
