AI Platform Engineer

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $160,000–$185,000 base annually + 15% target bonus

What you will do

• Design and build an enterprise AI platform from the ground up.
• Architect scalable AI infrastructure, data pipelines, and orchestration workflows.
• Deploy production LLM applications and integrate AI capabilities into existing business systems.
• Build reusable AI services, including knowledge assistants, document intelligence, enterprise search, and workflow automation.
• Establish practices for AI security, governance, and responsible AI.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify and deliver high-impact AI solutions.

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying production AI applications.
• Strong Azure and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience integrating LLMs into enterprise environments.
• Background in data pipelines, backend systems, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks, AI agents, or workflow automation.
• Strong software engineering and systems architecture fundamentals.
• Ability to work across engineering, infrastructure, and technical strategy.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI.
• Graph database or knowledge graph experience.
• Experience in highly regulated or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with responsible AI, security, and governance frameworks.
