Senior RF Test Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; onsite. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under U.S. Government Space Technology Export Regulations.

Salary: USD 134,000–161,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and implement engineering RF test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with design and test engineering teams to define requirements and map them to reusable test architectures and procedures.
• Implement test plans, log results, and present findings to stakeholders, customers, and executives.
• Architect RF test systems and participate in design-for-test planning and reviews from early RF product development stages.
• Manage laboratories and test equipment and guide equipment purchasing decisions.
• Support proposal-writing efforts and address cross-functional hardware test needs.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university or institution.
• At least 5 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years with a master’s degree, including industry experience designing, analyzing, and implementing RF test systems.
• High proficiency with RF measurements, including linearity, NSD, and EVM.
• Experience designing and developing test architectures with scripting, test executives, hardware, and measurement abstraction layers.
• Proficiency in statistics and metrology as applied to RF test design.
• Hands-on experience with digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, and vector signal analyzers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Familiarity or hands-on experience with phased array testing.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, MATLAB, C, C++, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware, including amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, and antennas, and its effects on test design.
