Software Delivery Manager (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Drive execution of the software development roadmap across multiple teams.
• Establish realistic software estimates, milestone plans, and delivery commitments with Project Managers and engineering teams.
• Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, bottlenecks, and delivery capacity.
• Implement delivery metrics and dashboards covering performance, predictability, flow, and capacity.
• Coach Scrum Masters and support pragmatic Agile practices, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Remove organizational impediments and foster accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software delivery, software project management, agile leadership, or a similar role within a software development organization.
• Experience driving process improvements in a software development organization.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks, including Scrum, with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
• Experience establishing delivery metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement practices.
• Strong planning and stakeholder management skills, balancing long-term roadmap execution with changing business priorities.
• Experience with Jira and modern software development tooling.
• Proficiency in English required; Danish proficiency is a plus.

• Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or other quality-driven environments.
• Danish proficiency.
