Senior Financial Analyst

Location: San Diego, United States; hybrid home/office workplace

Base pay: $76,375–$101,834 annually, plus eligibility for an annual corporate bonus plan.

What you will do

• Support company-wide budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation, management presentations, and financial submissions.
• Prepare financial and KPI reporting for senior management, compensation-related activities, and headquarters.
• Analyze financial results, transactions, journal entries, and account reconciliations to identify impacts, trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and actual reporting for commission expenses across Consumer and Professional business groups.
• Support Market Development Funds by accruing for customer agreements, preparing journal entries, resolving variances, and troubleshooting operational tools.
• Improve financial processes, reporting methodologies, controls, and efficiency while providing cross-functional backup for Financial Planning & Control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, accounting, corporate planning, or a related field, preferably in a fast-paced and complex business environment.
• Strong financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including management and analysis of complex financial data.
• Ability to learn and work effectively with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across business functions and stakeholder groups.
• Commitment to accuracy, integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct in financial reporting and related responsibilities.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SAP, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Experience with corporate financial consolidation, management reporting, or FP&A activities.
• Experience working with cross-functional business partners and presenting financial information to management.
