Senior GenAI Engineer (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Design, prototype, and deliver production-ready GenAI solutions for business use cases, from classical NLP to LLM-based applications.
• Build and optimize RAG pipelines covering document ingestion, embeddings, vector search, and retrieval quality.
• Develop prompt-engineering strategies and manage prompt lifecycles for production use.
• Design GenAI workflow automations and integrations using Azure AI Foundry, LangGraph, or similar tools.
• Integrate external data sources and APIs, validate use cases with clear success criteria, and iterate before production.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders while owning solution design and delivery for defined components.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in software engineering or machine learning/deep learning, including meaningful experience in GenAI or NLP.
• Strong Python skills and the ability to write production-quality code and review code constructively.
• Experience shipping production-grade GenAI applications, including RAG pipelines, agent orchestration, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
• Production experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native tooling.
• Comfortable working in English in a professional written and verbal setting.
• Experience with production GenAI challenges including messy data, stakeholder alignment, and continuous evaluation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph and workflow automation tools such as n8n or Azure AI Foundry.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with non-technical stakeholders.
• Interest in evaluating emerging AI techniques, tools, and research.
