Workday Consultant - Automation & AI (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Analyze and optimize HR processes across the hire-to-retire lifecycle, performing as-is/to-be gap analyses and translating requirements into Workday, automation, and AI solutions.
• Support Workday operations, including approved HRIS transactions, organizational and position management, data maintenance, EIB uploads, reporting, and functional testing within security and governance frameworks.
• Design, build, troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain production automation workflows using n8n, UiPath, Python, GenAI/LLM technologies, MCPs, and custom connectors.
• Build and deploy AI-powered HR tools and internal applications, including Claude-based apps, with authentication, role-based access, data privacy, and governance controls.
• Drive delivery from requirements and process design through prototyping, integration specifications, SIT/UAT, implementation, and adoption in collaboration with Workday Tech, FlixTech, HR, Security, and Data Privacy teams.
• Develop HR technology products and service-delivery solutions using Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Rovo Agents to improve employee and HR experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in HR technology, HR business analysis, HRIS, or automation, including strong operational HR knowledge across the hire-to-retire lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of Workday Core HCM, business processes, organizational structures, security concepts, HRIS governance, Workday optimization, operational transactions, reporting, data maintenance, or EIBs.
• Strong business analysis skills covering as-is/to-be gap analysis, requirements engineering, BPMN, and communication with HR and technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on programming and automation experience, particularly with Python, n8n, UiPath, or comparable tools, including building, troubleshooting, and maintaining production workflows.
• Knowledge of APIs, custom connectors, enterprise integrations, REST APIs, SFTP, OAuth 2.0, and webhooks for secure HRIS data exchange.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Rovo Agents, plus AI-enabled tools using Claude MCP, GenAI/LLMs, or similar technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently across HR and technology teams.

• Workday certification, such as Core HCM.
• n8n certification.
