What you will do

• Develop T-cell-based immune therapies for pediatric solid and brain tumors.
• Use genetic engineering to make immune cells cancer-specific and improve their effector function.
• Study genetically modified immune cells in preclinical models.
• Analyze interactions between adoptively transferred cells, tumor cells, the tumor microenvironment, and resident immune cells.
• Support translation of immune-cell therapy approaches toward early-phase clinical testing.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, genomics, immunology, or a related field.
• Strong publication record and excellent communication skills.
• Strong background in immunology and cell biology, with an emphasis on cellular immunology.
• Experience with genetic manipulation of mammalian cells.

Nice to have

• Experience generating and evaluating human or murine immune cells.
• Experience with gene editing, single-cell transcriptomics, flow cytometry, and murine solid tumor models.
