Portfolio Experience Director

Location: NYC - 12 E 49th St (Tower 49), United States

Base salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, depending on experience; eligible for a 30% annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead hospitality and tenant experience strategy across a key client’s real estate portfolio.
• Translate client goals into portfolio-wide programming, events, tenant engagement, leasing support, and amenity activation plans.
• Own operational standards, Playbooks, SOPs, Place Audits, vendor relationships, service quality, and business continuity reviews.
• Define experience KPIs, reporting cadence, service delivery metrics, recommendations, and data-driven improvement plans.
• Manage the portfolio budget, savings goals, amenity monetization strategies, pricing models, and partnership opportunities.
• Lead, coach, hire, schedule, cross-train, and develop a multi-site experience team while advising senior client leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of experience in hospitality, workplace experience, real estate, high-end retail, or a related operational field.
• Experience building hospitality or workplace experience programming and amenity strategies across multiple sites or a portfolio.
• Experience leading high-performing teams in complex, client-facing environments.
• Ability to build and manage budgets, establish savings goals, and justify investment decisions.
• Credibility with senior leaders and clear, direct communication with teams.
• Ability to influence matrixed relationships and achieve results without direct authority.
• Willingness to spend substantial time in buildings and with on-site teams.
