Senior Director, Third Party Risk Management

Location: Remote from anywhere in the Continental United States

Salary: $134,600–$249,000 per year

What you will do

• Set the enterprise strategy, governance model, risk framework, decision rights, and multi-year roadmap for third-party compliance risk management.
• Own the third-party risk management framework, including segmentation, due diligence, control expectations, quality assurance, monitoring, issue management, and remediation.
• Lead risk-based audits and monitoring of delegated entities, vendors, pharmacy benefit managers, third-party administrators, credentialing organizations, and other healthcare partners across Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace programs.
• Oversee audit planning, execution, reporting, validation, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and closure of material or systemic issues.
• Chair cross-functional governance forums and advise executives and business owners on regulatory change, emerging risks, concentration concerns, and control gaps.
• Lead directors, people leaders, auditors, monitoring specialists, compliance analysts, and delegated oversight professionals while directing executive- and board-level risk reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Health Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in audit, compliance, enterprise risk, and/or third-party risk management, including complex enterprise-scale programs.
• Experience leading managers or other people leaders and directing work across multiple business areas or operating units.
• Experience advising executive leadership and presenting material risk, program performance, or regulatory matters to executive governance committees and/or boards.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and government-sponsored programs, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace environments.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification required.

• Master’s degree.
• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) certification.
