AI Data Science Analyst

Location: Remote/Home-Based in Cambridge or London, UK

What you will do

• Support the design, development, and implementation of AI, ML, GenAI, and agentic AI solutions for clinical trial execution and R&D workflows.
• Support GenAI applications that automate clinical trial documentation, including protocols, clinical study reports, and statistical analysis plans.
• Evaluate and quality-test generative AI models for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and usability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and privacy standards.

Requirements

• Python, SQL, or similar programming skills.
• Understanding of data science and machine learning fundamentals, including data preparation, model evaluation, and responsible AI use.
• Familiarity with generative AI concepts, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Experience supporting AI tools for automating, streamlining, or improving business, scientific, or documentation workflows.
• Familiarity with high-compute cloud-based platforms and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline plus at least one year of relevant professional experience; alternatively, at least three years of relevant professional experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience may include internships or professional roles involving generative AI or AI-enabled automation.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the drug development lifecycle, including clinical development.
