Security Risk and Compliance Management Specialist V - UK (Cybersecurity)

Location: UK-Cardiff; office / data-center based

Salary: £61,388–£79,619 per year, depending on geographic market, knowledge, skills, and experience. Additional compensation may include annual bonuses or incentives, equity awards, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional development and implementation of risk frameworks, compliance solutions, policies, methodologies, charters, and reporting.
• Perform global IT risk, information security, compliance, vendor, third-party, and policy-deviation assessments; document findings and risk ratings.
• Oversee operational and non-operational risk programs, remediation plans, corrective actions, internal controls, and control matrices.
• Provide data analytics, root-cause analysis, risk summaries, training, and executive-level communications to risk officers, committees, business leaders, and control partners.
• Coordinate regulatory requirements, examinations, internal and external auditors, evidence gathering, customer audits, and industry-specific accreditation projects.
• Advise Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Policy, and product management teams on security, privacy, regulatory compliance, and trust-related features.

Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of compliance regulations and standards, including PCI, ISO 27001, Audit Standard #70, Safe Harbor, HIPAA, and FISMA.
• Expert-level knowledge of IT risk management, Governance, Risk and Compliance, information security, data privacy, vendor management, and/or business continuity management.
• Ability to independently perform complex and unique assignments and resolve problems.
• Ability to ensure documents, projects, processes, and product initiatives comply with regulatory, legal, and enterprise policy requirements.
• Ability to lead cross-functional workgroups, communication strategies, planning meetings, and risk framework initiatives.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, internal control testing, detailed findings analysis, due diligence, and remediation oversight.
• Ability to coordinate regulatory examinations, audits, and evidence collection with internal control owners, external auditors, customers, and industry bodies.
