Information Security Manager (Fintech)

Location: Cardiff, London or remote within the UK; distributed workers may need to attend ad hoc meetings in London.

Salary: £76,500–£95,000 per year. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

What you will do

• Lead projects across the security programme, including third-party security, governance, and vulnerability management.
• Represent Information Security in company projects and product launches, identifying and managing security risks.
• Write security policies and procedures with Security and wider bank teams.
• Mentor and develop Security Analysts.
• Monitor emerging security threats, technologies, and risks, and help prepare for future challenges.
• Work with internal audit and risk teams to implement security controls and assess their effectiveness.

Requirements

• Experience managing projects across multiple information security domains and leading several workstreams simultaneously.
• Working towards a recognised security qualification, such as CISSP.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex topics to different audiences.
• Confidence working independently and engaging senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use data to measure and improve work.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements, regulations, and procedures.
• Openness to new approaches and technologies, including GenAI.
