HVAC Construction Project Manager

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, or Maitland, Florida, United States. Monday to Thursday onsite with colleagues; Fridays offer flexibility in work location.

Annual base salary: $84,740–$137,200.

What you will do

• Manage project financials, administration, implementation, delivery, and customer satisfaction across smaller, larger, multi-building, and complex construction projects.
• Lead project teams and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining communication plans and resolving customer concerns.
• Manage contract compliance, penalty clauses, liquidated damages, documentation, safety guidelines, reporting, corrective actions, and governing-agency requirements.
• Oversee project cost and revenue forecasts, cash flow, expenses, collections support, applied cost, cost at completion, and monthly backlog reviews.
• Validate scope, cost, and schedule; establish customer expectations; identify risks; and develop mitigation plans.
• Select and manage qualified subcontractors, including RFQs, awards, execution, progress meetings, billing expectations, and safety communication, while maintaining schedules with tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with project schedules and construction project-management software.
• Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, earned value management (EVM), or similar project-based financial methodologies.
• Strong financial project-management capability supported by sufficient technical or construction knowledge to manage scope, schedule, and risk.
• Previous experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years, including DUI, hit and run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions.
• The role is designated safety sensitive and may require additional drug screening.
