QA Manual Tester (Manual Testing)

Location: Remote in Latin America or the Philippines; fixed schedule of 3:00 PM–11:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Execute functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, exploratory, cross-browser, cross-platform, mobile, accessibility, API, load, and stress testing.
• Design, maintain, and execute detailed test cases and testing documentation.
• Validate user interfaces, data, databases, application behavior, usability, and visual consistency.
• Reproduce, document, and track defects through resolution with development teams.
• Participate in requirements analysis, maintain test environments, and coordinate testing with project timelines.
• Generate test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in manual software testing, including test case design and execution.
• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle and QA processes.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Knowledge of functional, regression, integration, UAT, and other testing types.
• Experience testing web applications across browsers and platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development environments.
• Strong documentation skills for detailed test cases and bug reports.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience; proficiency in spoken and written English; portfolio demonstrating comprehensive manual testing experience.

• Mobile application testing experience with iOS or Android.
• Database testing and basic SQL knowledge.
• Accessibility testing tools and WCAG standards.
• Performance testing from the user perspective.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• E-commerce or fintech application testing experience.
• Basic security testing knowledge and usability testing experience.
• Testing certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE.
