Associate Project Management Specialist (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Salary: $60,200–$92,300 per year

What you will do

• Manage operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise with program management, planning, project teams, and Operations leadership.
• Review project status and budgets, manage schedules, and prepare status reports.
• Assess production issues and develop resolutions supporting productivity, quality, and customer objectives.
• Monitor project progress, intervene when needed, and lead problem-solving with project managers, line managers, customers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple projects, assess and mitigate risks, and maintain performance to plan.
• Support team training, mentoring, development, and cross-functional leadership.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience in a highly regulated, relevant manufacturing environment.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, including coordination, status tracking, and performance to plan.
• Ability to coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, manage with influence, foster internal business partnerships, and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• PMP or other PMI certification.
• Experience tracking individual projects within a larger portfolio and familiarity with Smartsheet.
• Ability to develop project-appropriate schedules, integrate large multi-year and near-term projects, and present in-depth information to executive management.
• Technical background, business acumen, and ability to coordinate with Finance on tracking to plan.
• Experience with SAP, MES, root cause analysis, risk assessment and mitigation, lean processing, and industrial engineering concepts.
• Knowledge of a manufacturing environment and experience fostering business partnerships with internal customers.
