Decoration Engineer – Graphic Prepress Specialist (Printing)

Location: Billund Kornmarken, Denmark. Full-time hybrid role with the option to work from home up to two days per week; the workplace is the specified office, store or factory.

What you will do

• Use Adobe Illustrator and ESKO to prepare and adapt graphics for testing and production.
• Transform 2D designs into production-ready artwork with the correct warp for hirify.global® Bricks.
• Adjust dimensions, layers and print order to achieve the intended visual result.
• Coordinate graphic preparation from approved design through testing and production.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, test center specialists and global production engineers to solve technical and graphic challenges.
• Support test printing, follow quality standards, and optimize and document processes and guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator; ESKO and Automation Engine experience is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in prepress, graphic production, printing or manufacturing.
• Experience preparing and adapting graphics for production, including dimensions, layers, print order and graphic quality.
• Knowledge of printing technologies and prepress processes.
• Strong interest in technical solutions and hands-on problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a structured way, follow processes and maintain an overview across several tasks and priorities.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills across design, engineering, testing and production.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Structured, positive and detail-oriented approach, with willingness to perform repetitive work while improving processes when needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with pad printing (Tampo printing).
• Experience with other printing technologies, including flexographic printing.
