Senior Product Manager - External Developer Experience (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the strategy and roadmap for the external developer experience, including APIs, technical documentation, sandbox environments, white-label offerings, and SDKs.
• Manage the API as a product by defining design principles, consistency standards, versioning, and deprecation policies.
• Improve sandbox-to-production parity, developer onboarding, error handling, and time to first successful payment.
• Productise white-label solutions for reseller and embedded finance partners, including packaging, pricing, and support models.
• Define controlled access for MCP and AI agents, including permissions, limits, and auditability.
• Track integration success, API errors, developer satisfaction, and other developer experience metrics while collaborating with Engineering, Client Implementation, Solutions, Support, Compliance, Security, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including ownership of an API, developer platform, or developer-facing product; payments or B2B fintech experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of API design, authentication, webhooks, versioning, sandbox environments, and developer API adoption.
• Ability to write or direct clear technical documentation for developers.
• Experience with white-label and embedded finance models and their commercial and regulatory considerations.
• Understanding of AI agents as API consumers and the permissions, limits, and audit they require.
• Ability to own a roadmap, identify problems, make decisions, and drive delivery independently.
• Sufficient technical depth to work closely with engineers and review developer experiences directly.
• Comfort working with compliance, security, and commercial stakeholders.
• Curious, inquisitive, data-oriented, and willing to investigate customer needs beyond initial answers.
• Comfort using AI tools for research, drafting, analysis, and prototyping while remaining accountable for the outcome.
