DevOps Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and deploy Azure-hosted solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Build highly available, scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performing cloud environments.
• Guide application development, DevOps, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and architecture teams on cloud integration and security reviews.
• Coordinate infrastructure architecture reviews, mentor junior team members, and liaise with vendors and cloud providers.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, security, resource usage, and costs through automation.
• Implement disaster recovery, maintain technical documentation, and report on cloud service performance and cost trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and deploying cloud architecture.
• Expertise with Azure Cloud and PaaS offerings including AKS, Azure SQL, APIM, and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, and database management.
• Knowledge of source code management concepts, including branching, merging, integration, and versioning.
• Experience producing proofs of concept to support development and DevOps teams.
• Ability to translate traditional SDLC phases into agile development phases when automating cloud architecture tasks.
• Intermediate+ English proficiency

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
