CloudOps Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day operational support for infrastructure and applications hosted in AWS environments.
• Monitor system health with Amazon CloudWatch and Nagios and respond to infrastructure and application alerts.
• Handle and prioritize ServiceNow incidents, investigate disruptions, and troubleshoot with incomplete information.
• Support compute workloads on Amazon EC2 and container platforms including Amazon EKS and Amazon ECS.
• Perform routine operational activities, validate infrastructure health, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Follow procedures, coordinate with senior engineers, and escalate complex technical issues when required.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch and Nagios.
• Understanding of incident management processes, such as ServiceNow.
• Basic troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networking, and applications.
• Ability to follow runbooks and operational procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or an equivalent foundational certification is required.
