Learning & Development Lead (AI)

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; other locations: Belgrade, Serbia, and Porto, Portugal

What you will do

• Design and develop the group-wide AI capability framework, defining skills and proficiency levels across roles and functions.
• Create structured AI learning curricula, development pathways, and learning design standards.
• Translate business and skills needs into practical learning solutions with senior stakeholders, technical experts, business leaders, People & Culture, and external learning partners.
• Define assessment and recognition approaches, including assessments, certifications, and digital badges.
• Lead the AI Curriculum & Capability Programme across multiple teams and countries, coordinating priorities, milestones, pilots, feedback, and phased rollout.
• Measure learning effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve the programme.

Requirements

• Extensive Learning & Development experience, ideally in technology, engineering, consulting, or professional services.
• Proven experience designing learning curricula, capability frameworks, or structured learning programmes from scratch.
• Strong programme or project management experience coordinating complex initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience translating business needs and skills requirements into learning strategies, frameworks, and development pathways.
• Confidence working with senior leaders and technical experts, influencing decisions, challenging constructively, and building alignment.
• Understanding of learning design principles, skills frameworks, and learning-effectiveness assessment.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver within ambitious timelines.
• Pragmatic, structured, collaborative approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and turn complex ideas into actionable plans.
• Experience working across countries, functions, or business units in an international environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different organisational levels and cultures.
• Fluency in English required.
