Data Analyst Internship (Python/SQL)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Amsterdam, Netherlands office.

What you will do

• Extract and analyze data, communicate outcomes, and support data-driven stakeholder decisions.
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Excel, SQL, Python, and BI platforms such as Power BI.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Maintain data quality, integrity, usability, documentation, metadata, and process workflows.
• Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders on data needs, data modeling, and KPI tracking.
• Support automation of routine reporting tasks.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree throughout the internship, with a major in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of Excel and SQL, plus at least one programming language: Python or R.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Basic understanding of statistics, data structures, and analytical methods.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn and work.
• Applicants who have already completed their studies cannot be considered for this learning internship.
