Risk Apprentice (Compliance & Risk)

Location: London, UK; hybrid working with expected attendance at the local office throughout the programme and most days during the initial settling-in period. Relocation closer to the office is strongly recommended if the commute exceeds 1.5 hours.

Salary: £32,000 fixed apprenticeship salary.

What you will do

• Rotate through risk-management projects, including fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Help colleagues apply legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Identify and reduce potential risks before they develop.
• Analyse and report risk situations using evidence-based reporting.
• Communicate complex risk information clearly to colleagues and decision-makers.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old on 1 September 2027.
• Five achieved GCSEs at grades 4–9, including Maths and English.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK; the visa end date must extend beyond the apprenticeship programme, which lasts up to two years.
• Interest in risk and compliance basics within financial services.
• Analytical thinking, evidence-based reporting and clear communication skills.
