Salary: $123,000–$149,100 per year, depending on skills, competency, and market demand.

What you will do

• Design, execute, analyze, optimize, validate, and scale live-cell imaging assays for high-throughput screening using proprietary single-molecule super-resolution microscopy.
• Collaborate with computational biologists and software engineers to apply statistical and machine-learning methods to large biological datasets.
• Deliver high-quality, actionable data and data-driven recommendations to drug discovery project teams.
• Maintain comprehensive electronic records of experiments, results, and protocols in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Transfer optimized processes into production workflows with documented standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate across biology, chemistry, and engineering teams and contribute to training junior scientists.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, or a related field; or a Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree plus 12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in mammalian cell culture using sterile technique and in laboratory techniques and equipment for molecular and cellular biology.
• Demonstrated experience systematically optimizing and validating biological assays.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with novel assay technologies.
• Experience with quantitative fluorescence microscopy and/or super-resolution microscopy.
• Experience with quantitative and/or statistical analysis using common software tools such as Microsoft Suite and GraphPad Prism.
• Experience using one or more high-level programming languages, such as Python, MATLAB, or R, for large-dataset analysis and visualization.
• Excellent scientific communication, collaboration in multidisciplinary teams, proactive problem solving, and adaptability to changing research priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience studying protein dynamics using single-molecule microscopy.
• Experience with high-throughput instrumentation and automation systems.
