Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; office-first with four days per week in the Stockholm office. Candidates must already have the right to work and reside in Sweden.

What you will do

• Design, build, and evolve scalable microservices and APIs for subscriptions, payments, authentication, and partner integrations.
• Develop across backend, frontend, and platform concerns using a fullstack approach.
• Work with Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and other AI tools throughout the development lifecycle, including improving how they are used.
• Own projects and features with Product, Design, Data, and other disciplines.
• Take responsibility for observability, monitoring, continuous improvement, code quality, security, and system availability.
• Drive technical initiatives and support architecture and technology decisions.

Requirements

• At least five years of fullstack development experience in modern systems, with a strong understanding of how technical solutions fit into a larger context.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience working in a fast-moving environment where self-leadership is essential.
• Ability to balance competing technical considerations and translate broad requirements into system components and back.
• Strong commitment to using AI as a tool to improve individual and team delivery.
• Interest in complex systems and continuous learning, with a focus on code quality, security, and stability under high load.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Nice to have

• Experience with subscription businesses, payments, authentication, or services for logged-in users.
• Experience with streaming or media platforms, Go, GraphQL, React Native, or high-traffic distributed systems.
