Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/TypeScript)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; must already have the right to work and reside in Sweden and work office-first from Stockholm, normally four days per week. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not available.

What you will do

• Build and evolve user experiences in React and TypeScript for content discovery, navigation, and selection.
• Own frontend architecture, quality, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Work across client applications, APIs, and backend services when required.
• Drive technical initiatives and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.
• Translate user needs into technical solutions with product and design.
• Use AI tools as part of the development process.

Requirements

• Experienced fullstack engineer with a clear focus on modern frontend development and mature engineering judgment.
• Deep experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web development.
• Backend development, APIs, and integrations experience.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, quality, and long-term sustainability.
• Experience in modern cloud-based product environments and understanding of how frontend applications interact with underlying services and systems.
• Ability to move between broader product context and technical detail, make well-founded decisions under ambiguity, and communicate clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional product team.
• Required stack includes React, TypeScript, Go, Node, AWS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, OpenSearch or Elasticsearch, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, with the role focused primarily on frontend.

Nice to have

• React Native, Go, or GraphQL experience.
• Experience with streaming or media platforms, search, recommendation systems, personalised user experiences, or high-traffic consumer products.
