What you will do

• Support financial accounting and reporting, including programme and project accounting.
• Analyse financial data, identify trends, and produce accurate management reports.
• Support capital investment, lease accounting, monthly actuals, forecasting, and annual budgeting.
• Manage accounting and financial systems and conduct periodic finance reviews.
• Develop knowledge of financial management and control, business decision-making, risk, governance, and compliance.
• Work with hirify.global colleagues, stakeholders, and external auditors including the NAO.

Requirements

• Interest in accounting, finance, and how organisations make business decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting information and identifying trends.
• Stakeholder and relationship management skills, including negotiation.
• Understanding of mathematical and financial concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex models to a range of stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and a calm, focused approach to changing circumstances.
• At least GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Must be aged 18 or over by the apprenticeship start in September 2027, have lived continuously in the UK for the previous three years, and be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the full apprenticeship.
• Must not be enrolled in another apprenticeship or already hold a qualification in the same subject at the same or a higher level.
• Must be willing to complete the Accounting Finance Manager Level 6 apprenticeship standard and meet the training provider’s entry requirements.
