Associate Director, Data & Analytics – Delivery Region Europe

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid working. Relocation support is not available; applicants must already be accessible to Barcelona.

Annual base salary: €52,400–€97,400, plus potential performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Partner with senior business leaders to translate strategic priorities into data and analytics initiatives.
• Shape and prioritize the regional data and analytics roadmap based on business goals and measurable outcomes.
• Lead data products from concept and development through deployment, adoption, and value realization.
• Convert complex business requirements into product backlogs, epics, and user stories.
• Drive scalable data pipelines, transformations, and analytics solutions across enterprise platforms.
• Coordinate business, product, engineering, and governance teams while leading readiness, adoption, performance, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
• Strong business analysis and requirements management skills in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Advanced expertise in Structured Query Language and modern cloud-based data platforms.
• Hands-on experience delivering scalable data pipelines, transformation workflows, and analytics products.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, lineage, and data quality practices.
• Experience with Snowflake and enterprise data orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, and testing.
• Excellent communication skills for influencing technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering data and analytics solutions in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to enterprise data governance and policy management platforms in large-scale environments.
