Data Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines for automotive applications.
• Develop efficient ETL processes and ensure data quality, integrity, accessibility, and reliable retrieval.
• Select and implement relational, NoSQL, vector, and graph database technologies for different use cases.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS services, big data technologies, and ETL tools.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to translate requirements into efficient data architectures.
• Work in an agile environment with Scrum, code reviews, retrospectives, and continuous innovation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering projects, including the relevant experience areas described below.
• Demonstrated experience with Python programming and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of relational, NoSQL, vector, and graph database systems.
• Experience with big data technologies and designing and implementing ETL processes.
• Experience with OTEL and logging for tracing, observability, and controlling.
• Proficiency in cloud-based data solutions, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance principles.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vector similarity search and graph data modeling.
• Certifications in cloud technologies or data engineering.
