Principal Radar Systems Engineer

Location: Remote; <hirify.globalong>U.S. citizenship is requiredhirify.globalong> for security-cleared U.S. Government work.

What you will do

• Lead research and implementation of new RF sensing approaches for advanced radar solutions.
• Decompose customer needs and complex problems into system concepts, architectures, and end-to-end solutions.
• Design, direct, and implement technology for multifunction radar systems, guiding software, hardware, integration, and test teams.
• Use system models and engineering tools, including Cameo, to evaluate, document, and communicate solutions.
• Analyze and optimize radar performance through simulations, real-world testing, and data analysis.
• Define requirements, specifications, architectures, verification approaches, and simulation tools for radar software and hardware.

Requirements

• <hirify.globalong>Active Secret security clearance and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with eligibility for special access programs are required; U.S. citizenship is required.hirify.globalong>
• Expert understanding of complete radar systems, including design, development, requirements verification, test planning and execution, data analysis, and operations support.
• In-depth knowledge of radar modes, transmit and receive waveform generation, and signal processing.
• Proficiency with radar simulation tools and MATLAB.
• Experience preparing and delivering high-level briefings to customers and senior management and translating mission needs into end-to-end solutions.
• Familiarity with technical reviews including SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, and TIMs.
• Demonhirify.globalated leadership and delivery experience on advanced development projects.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Radar Systems Engineer, with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of directly related radar development and deployment experience; alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least 8 years or a PhD with at least 5 years. Equivalent experience is considered.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience with SysML models in Cameo or a similar tool.
• Experience with software-intensive systems and open architectures.
• Familiarity with C, C++, or Python.
