Senior Engineer, Facilities Engineering (Industrial Infrastructure)

hirify.global is developing and operating industrial facilities that include a test laboratory, SMT line, and future large-scale manufacturing facility.

What you will do

• Support the operation of critical test-lab infrastructure, including MV/LV electrical distribution, UPS and backup systems, HVAC, process cooling, cleanliness, and environmental controls.
• Support manufacturing teams with infrastructure-related issues and requirements while monitoring energy use, alarms, reliability, and facility performance.
• Act as the Owner’s Technical Representative during the design and construction of the future production hall.
• Review and challenge engineering and contractor designs, translating manufacturing requirements into technical specifications.
• Coordinate manufacturing teams, design offices, contractors, suppliers, and external facilities and maintenance providers.
• Support the project from concept design through commissioning and drive issue resolution across stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in facilities engineering or industrial infrastructure.
• Experience in industrial or high-tech environments such as electronics, semiconductors, or pharma.
• Proven involvement in design and/or construction projects on the owner or contractor side.
• Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
• Strong working experience with electrical systems, including MV/LV and backup power, as well as UPS/STS/ATS engineering and operations.
• Strong working experience with HVAC and cooling systems, cleanrooms or controlled environments, and industrial utilities such as air and water.
• Ability to review and challenge technical designs, with strong ownership, accountability, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in both hands-on and strategic environments and challenge external partners when required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BMS and monitoring systems.
