Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Rancho Dominguez, California, United States; onsite leadership role.

Estimated salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, plus eligibility for variable cash programs and equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a four-person Planning and Procurement team through priorities, accountability, cross-training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Own production planning, material planning, scheduling, and procurement from demand review through execution.
• Manage shortages, supplier performance, purchase-order execution, inventory health, safety stock, capacity constraints, and recovery plans.
• Maintain SAP/MRP discipline, including master data, planning parameters, lead times, safety stocks, transactions, and exception management.
• Support site-level SIOP, KPI performance, standard work, RCCM, continuous improvement, and cross-functional operating cadences.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, R&D, Engineering, Finance, Customer Service, Strategic Sourcing, and Filtration Network teams on production, development builds, intersite supply, and strategic projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, or manufacturing operations, including 3+ years of demonstrated people leadership.
• Experience leading planning and procurement in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production and material planning, scheduling, capacity, suppliers, purchase-order execution, shortages, inventory, and cross-functional recovery planning.
• Demonstrated ERP/MRP proficiency covering demand and supply signals, exceptions, planning parameters, lead times, safety stock, and master-data impacts.
• Ability to analyze operational data, identify root causes, evaluate options, and translate findings into clear decisions and actions.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience establishing standard work, KPIs, operating cadences, change management, and sustainable process improvements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, prioritization, problem-solving, urgency, and accountability.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated life sciences, biotechnology, or medical-device manufacturing.
• SAP experience.
• Power Query, Power BI, workflow automation, or similar tools.
• Palantir or a similar enterprise data and analytics platform.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP, ISM CPSM, or an equivalent professional certification.
