Design Apprentice (Graphic)

Location: On-site apprenticeship; candidates must live within a commutable distance of the Los Angeles or New York hirify.global offices.

Salary: $22.60/hour USD, non-exempt and overtime eligible.

hirify.global is a global creative company producing design, 2D and 3D animation, and other visual work through collaborative teams in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney, London, and Amsterdam.

What you will do

• Create assets, graphics, and style frames supporting 2D and 3D animation pipelines.
• Work with an assigned mentor to pursue personal and apprenticeship goals.
• Learn new tools, including AI-assisted workflows, to support departmental, client, and market needs.
• Share insights, assist peers, and contribute to collaborative department work.

Requirements

• 2+ years studying or working in an industry relevant to the skill set.
• Efficient, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to design in a range of styles and awareness of current pop culture and design trends.
• Ability to create end-to-end solutions from concept through guideline codification and asset delivery.
• Ability to concept broadly, iterate narrowly, and contribute at varying project stages.
• Ability to work with increasing independence, develop a distinctive point of view, take direction, and collaborate effectively.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Figma, graphic and motion design fundamentals, typography, and logo development.

Nice to have

• Experience with After Effects, C4D, and AI-assisted workflows.
