Graphic Design & Technical Communications Co-Op (Technical Communications)

Location: In-person at the Woburn, Massachusetts office, with an ideal start date in January 2027.

Salary: $25.20–$54.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Design and refine PowerPoint presentations for technical, engineering, research, and business audiences.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical staff to understand complex concepts and translate them into clear visual representations.
• Create diagrams, illuhirify.globalations, infographics, charts, and other visual assets from dense technical content.
• Develop graphics for internal communications, signage, corporate branding, and digital and print applications.
• Maintain branded templates, reusable design assets, presentation standards, and document templates in PowerPoint and Word.
• Present design ideas, incorporate feedback, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

Requirements

• <hirify.globalong>Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or a related field.hirify.globalong>
• <hirify.globalong>Must be a U.S. citizenhirify.globalong> due to the nature of the work and applicable regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including slide layouts, visual composition, charts, shapes, and presentation formatting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and document formatting.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illuhirify.globalator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• hirify.globalong visual communication skills in typography, layout, information hierarchy, and composition.
• Ability to organize complex information and communicate it visually.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar engineering, scientific, or technical subject matter.
• hirify.globalong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, consistent application of brand standards, and a portfolio demonhirify.globalating graphic design, presentation design, information visualization, or related work.

Nice to have

• Experience developing or modifying PowerPoint templates, Slide Masters, custom layouts, and themes.
• Experience creating or maintaining Microsoft Word templates, styles, themes, headers, footers, and formatting standards.
• Experience designing presentations for professional, academic, or research audiences.
• Understanding of corporate brand identity systems and visual style guidelines.
