R2R - Oracle EBS Projects Consultant

Location: Remote within the United States, excluding North Dakota, Vermont, and Rhode Island

Salary: $70,500–$111,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $87,000–$131,000 annually.

What you will do

• Support and improve Oracle EBS Project Accounting and Project Systems operations.
• Document project setup, cost collection, burdening, revenue generation, billing, funding, and project close processes.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, operating procedures, support documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Facilitate workshops with Finance, Project Accounting, Oracle EBS subject-matter experts, and technical support teams.
• Analyze process dependencies, operational risks, control points, and knowledge gaps.
• Support accurate project-cost and revenue accounting, financial close, audit readiness, business continuity, and operational resilience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience supporting ERP, Project Accounting, Project Systems, or business operations processes.
• Experience documenting business processes, procedures, operational workflows, runbooks, standard operating procedures, or knowledge-transfer documentation.
• Experience gathering and validating requirements with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with financial close processes and ERP support operations.
• Experience with Oracle EBS Projects, Oracle Project Accounting, or similar ERP Project Systems solutions.
• Experience supporting project costing, billing, revenue recognition, or project financial management processes.
• Experience supporting process improvement, governance, or operational excellence initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with project costing, burdening, revenue recognition, billing, funding, and project close processes.
• Experience working in Finance, Project Accounting, ERP support, or enterprise applications environments.
• Experience facilitating process workshops with business and technical subject-matter experts.
• Experience identifying process dependencies, operational risks, standardization opportunities, and key-person dependencies.
• Experience supporting audit readiness, compliance, operational resilience, business continuity, or ERP modernization initiatives.
