Vice President, Quality (Manufacturing)

Location: St Louis Park, Minnesota, United States; hybrid workplace. Domestic and international travel is required.

Compensation range: $241,500–$359,000 annually, with possible eligibility for annual incentives.

What you will do

• Own enterprise quality performance across customer escapes, cost of poor quality, first-pass yield, supplier quality, warranty, reliability, launch quality, and on-time-to-customer impact.
• Define and execute the enterprise quality strategy, operating model, metrics, accountability mechanisms, and performance reviews.
• Embed quality planning, design and process validation, risk assessment, reliability requirements, quality gates, and launch readiness into strategic product programs.
• Lead digital quality modernization, including predictive quality, AI-enabled risk detection, manufacturing analytics, digital traceability, eQMS, and enterprise quality intelligence.
• Modernize the Quality Management System and maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AS9100, customer-specific requirements, and regional regulations.
• Develop customer, supplier, operational, and enterprise quality capabilities while building a prevention-focused quality culture and high-performing leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, business, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive quality, operations, engineering, or supply chain leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment, including significant multi-site or enterprise quality leadership.
• Demonstrated results improving customer escapes, cost of poor quality, first-pass yield, supplier quality, warranty, reliability, and launch quality.
• Strong experience with new product quality, design validation, process validation, launch readiness, reliability engineering, and quality risk management for complex product portfolios.
• Experience advancing digital quality capabilities, including eQMS, quality analytics, digital traceability, predictive insights, and AI-enabled risk detection.
• Proven ability to lead enterprise-level change in a complex, matrixed, global organization.
• Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive presence, with the ability to connect quality priorities to business value.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
