Senior Software Developer (C#/.NET)

Location: Stafford, VA office; US citizenship and an active Secret clearance required

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Design and develop testable code for applications that manage large datasets and indexes.
• Build features supporting information sharing, data analysis, electronic exchange, investigations, and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Participate as a team member or lead in sprint demonstrations and presentations to product stakeholders.

Requirements

• US citizenship and an active Secret clearance.
• At least 8 years of software development experience; certifications may offset experience requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree or additional relevant experience.
• Experience with C# and .NET, web-based applications, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience designing and developing relational databases, preferably with SQL Server.
• Experience developing or consuming services and RESTful APIs.
• Experience developing unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or other testing frameworks.
• Ability to work across services, identify potential challenges, and design and communicate solutions.
• Experience working with an Agile team using Scrum, XP, Kanban, or another Lean development approach.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, critical-thinking, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience managing junior and mid-level developers.
