Senior Risk Management Associate (Fintech)

Location: US-Remote; applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship

Pay range: $123,500–$142,000 per year

hirify.global operates a cloud-based mortgage securitization platform supporting the Uniform Mortgage-Backed Security (UMBS) of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, including issuance, bond administration, disclosure, tax services, and full lifecycle management.

What you will do

• Execute and track enterprise risk management programs, projects, initiatives, and the annual ERM plan.
• Develop project plans, milestones, timelines, metrics, reporting, records, and implementation documentation using project management practices.
• Coordinate with business units, corporate stakeholders, executives, Internal Audit, Compliance, and FHFA regulators on risk issues, remediation, and program status.
• Participate in process mapping for mortgage-backed securities issuance and administration activities.
• Perform gap and data analysis, provide quality assurance, escalate material risks, and support mitigation planning.
• Assess training needs, design and deliver risk management training, evaluate effectiveness, and create learning materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 5 years of related experience in Risk Management and/or Consulting, including at least 3 years in risk management programs or project management, hardware/software implementations, or GRC tool implementations.
• At least 2–3 years of demonstrated process mapping or project management experience, including familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, multiple risk disciplines, industry best practices, and standards.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, research, stakeholder management, and risk remediation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in an evolving virtual environment and credibly challenge peers and business partners.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: advanced Outlook and Word, moderate Excel, Visio, Power BI, and process mapping tools such as Visio or similar.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship; H-1B sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or active progress toward certification.
• Scrum Master certification or progress toward certification, with familiarity with Agile process mapping practices.
