Mid-level Full Stack Developer (Java/Spring)

Location: Hybrid; 80% remote with one day per week in Chantilly, VA or Woodbridge, VA. Must pass a high-risk public trust background investigation and hold Top Secret clearance or High Risk Public Trust Suitability.

What you will do

• Develop capabilities for the intake, analysis, processing, management, and visualization of digital evidence.
• Build custom software components, data processing pipelines, and analytical modules.
• Improve digital evidence data management, analytical efficiency, automation, and exploitation performance.
• Develop and integrate APIs, UIs, data management services, and analytical tools with product and data teams.
• Participate in Agile development, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Support technical documentation, configuration, knowledge transfer, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, Java Spring, and React.
• Understanding of relational database design and experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
• Experience with Bash or similar shell scripting.
• Ability to analyze structured and unstructured data and relate data to business, mission, and user needs.
• Experience with DevOps tools and workflows, particularly GitLab.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Containerd, or Kubernetes.
• Top Secret clearance or High Risk Public Trust Suitability required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Tempo.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Nutanix.
• Experience designing or supporting multi-tenant architectures.
• Experience with IAM systems such as Keycloak.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, Metabase, or Trino.
