Business Development Manager (Payments)

Location: Remote from Ukraine or Cyprus

What you will do

• Lead the integration and management of Payment Service Providers into the proprietary payment gateway.
• Develop strategic partnerships with third-party payment schemes and suppliers to expand the payment method portfolio and improve processing performance.
• Manage existing partner relationships, monitor payment performance fluctuations, and coordinate improvement initiatives.
• Negotiate commercial terms, including commissions and payment volumes.
• Ensure partner agreements and activities comply with regulatory, AML, and compliance obligations.
• Coordinate payment operations, product, engineering, treasury, finance, and legal stakeholders through partner setup and ongoing operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business development or partnerships within payments or fintech.
• Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including PSPs, card schemes, APMs, acquirers, and routing logic.
• Knowledge of AML, PSD2, 3DS, and card scheme rules.
• Strong interpersonal and partner-facing communication skills, including discussions with banks, PSPs, and vendors.
• Experience cooperating with multiple departments and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English level required.
